Detail
ACRYSION is a new-generation water-based emulsion paint that solves the problems of slow drying time, weak paint film, and odor caused by organic solvents, and aims to improve safety and the painting environment.
<Product Features>
After drying, it becomes water-resistant and forms a solvent-resistant paint film.
・As a result of minimizing the use of organic solvents, ultra-low odor paints for models have been achieved.
Although it is a water-based paint, it dries quickly and is easy to work with.
The lineup includes glossy paints, which have been difficult to produce with conventional water-based emulsion paints.
The dried paint film has a certain degree of tracking property.
Low solvent content makes it difficult to erode thinly molded ABS parts, which are easily damaged by solvents.
Unlike solvent-based paints that dissolve and bite into plastic resins, the paints themselves have a strong bite. Paint can be applied to urethane resins and other resins with strong solvent resistance without the need for a primer. Polycarbonate can also be painted. However, it is recommended that a primer be applied to the surface of the coating to improve its adhesion.
For brush application, the product can be used as is without dilution. If it is difficult to apply, add 1-2 drops of water or Acrysion retarder (recommended). If the paint is too dilute, the pigments will easily run off and the paint surface will be unevenly colored.
When using an airbrush, please use Acrysion® Airbrush Thinner Kaiyun (dilution ratio 1:0:1). (Dilution ratio 1:0.3). When diluting with water, it is recommended to dilute a little at a time and paint with as little air pressure as possible. Please note that if too much water is added, the paint will be repelled by the object to be painted.
After painting, tools such as brushes and airbrushes can be cleaned with water if they are used before the paint dries. After drying, they are not soluble in water and should be cleaned with Acrysion’s special tool cleaner.
